The Mall at Fairfield Commons has joined Pelotonia, a global community determined to see an end to cancer, for its 15th year of raising funds to accelerate innovative cancer research. Together, the Pelotonia community has raised over $258 million for cancer research at the OSUCCC – James. And we’re just getting started! I’m proud to ask for your support of my fundraising efforts knowing that Pelotonia directs 100% of every participant-raised dollar to invest in the brightest minds and biggest ideas in cancer research — including advancements in cancer prevention, improvements in early detection methods, and the development of cancer therapies that are less toxic and more effective for patients. Our community is particularly proud of Pelotonia’s support of the clinical trial for a therapy that is now taken by more than 270,000 cancer patients worldwide and of our significant support of the Pelotonia Institute for Immuno-Oncology, which is pursuing a new frontier in clinical cancer care that harnesses the body’s immune system to fight cancer.
