The 6 week beginner's series is designed for ALL levels. For those new to yoga, you will be introduced to common yoga poses and their benefits. For those returning, you will have an opportunity to hone your practice, focus on proper alignment, and incorporate breath work with movement. The basis will be Hatha yoga, gradually working our way into a S L O W F L O W. Each class will work on increasing flexibility, strength and balance. Class is limited so register in advance to secure your spot. Drop-ins welcome based on space availability.
When and Where: Class will meet Tuesdays, September 17-October 29th. 6-7p.m. at the serene Heartfulness Center inside the Mall at Fairfield Commons. Arrive a few minutes early to set up your mat. Mats provided for those without.
Suggested Donation: Sep 17th 1st class Free. Then series Sep 24th - Oct 29th, suggested donation $50 for series, $10 drop-in. Cash or check preferred. You may register by emailing Katie at: firstname.lastname@example.org
Teacher Bio: Katie Wolterman has been practicing yoga for 10 years. She trained in India in 2015 at Rishikesh Yog Peeth. Katie is registered with the American Yoga Alliance, is attuned to Reiki, levels I and II, and is a licensed massage therapist in both Ohio and New York.
